(FESTIVAL DEL MUNDILLO)
To all people who live in Orlando, Florida, and to all Puerto Ricans that love their culture, and enjoy to travel, don't miss the opportunity to go to one of the best Festivals of Puerto Rico "First Bobbin Lace Festival" (Primer Festival del Mundillo).
Our First Bobbin Lace Festival (Festival del Mundillo) will be held in October 15, 2006. At this time, a group of Artisans from Puerto Rico will expose their handcraft arts, specially the bobbin lace (mundillo).
Mr. Francisco Rivera Marrero, well known in Puerto Rico as FRIMA, will be there representing our "Jíbaro Boricua" in his role as "Moriviví". He will also have an exposition of his lithography and some of his paints. For more information, you can call him at: (787) 406-4213. I know you will enjoy Mr. Rivera Marrero (FRIMA) in his role of "Moriviví", he is fantastic!
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE...!
During the month of August, 2006, Mr. Francisco Rivera Marrero (FRIMA) will expose to the public his paints from the different festivals that we celebrate in our island, Puerto Rico. The master piece will be "Tropical Flame" (based on the original paint "Flaming June" from the famous painter Sir Lord Leighton).
The exposition will be held at San Patricio Plaza, 2nd Floor, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he will play the role as "Cocotí" and Sunday he will play the role as "Moriviví". At the moment we can't confirm the time of the event, but as soon as we have this information we will let you know.
We hope you can be present to enjoy his talent!
